The mayor of Frontino condemned General Zapateiro for getting involved in an unresolved conflict

Jorge Hugo Elejalde (mayor of Frontino), Antioquia joined the controversy created by the riffraff entre the presidential candidate Gustavo Petro et the Army commander, General Eduardo Zapateiro. It all began with this week’s attack on Frontino by the Gulf Clan.

The president claimed that the question of the attack and the murder of seven soldiers had been lost, and that they should are focusing on a fight over politics instead of seeking to find those responsible.

Elejalde said, “I call on General to stop fighting against candidates in Presidential Elections, the general’s focus is to come, defend the United States, and don his boots and go to the polls,”

He stated, “I respect institutions, I respect, and I love the Army. I’m the one who has given the most personality to them, but I am not a fan of people who forget their constitutional duties and letting politics be left to politicians.”

gustavo petro asks that the governor Diego Molano and the minister Diego Molano visit Frontino to deal with the issues of violence plaguing the city.
