The ‘Chicken’ Carvajal rejected to demonstrate versus Petro in the Supreme Court

gustavo petro from Venezuela was widely expected by the media to explain how Venezuelan politicians and leftist parties were illegally funded for at most 15 years.

Hugo ‘El Pollo’ Carvajal was the former director of Venezuelan intelligence. did not make any statements to the Supreme Court of Justice of Colombia on Friday.

The trial was set after Carvajal promised in a document sent to the judge of the National Court of Spain Manuel Garcia-Castellon that his Venezuelan government “has illegally supported left-wing political movements around the world for more than 15 years.”

Carvajal was not just referring to not just the Podemos party (left-wing organization founded under Pablo Iglesias) but also other Latin American politicians, parties and even parties like Gustavo Petro.

However, during the diligence process in this April 22nd, Petro was not to declare in Spain or Colombia because it’s part of the process of extradition and therefore it is not ruled out to add to what he previously stated in writing in Spain about Petro.

He also voiced his distrust towards the Spanish judiciary.

The document in which Carvajal spoke of the current presidential President-elect candidate of Colombia says:

“While I was Director of Intelligence and Military Counterintelligence of Venezuela,” I received numerous reports suggesting that international financing was taking place. Some concrete examples are Nestor Kirchner in Argentina; Evo Morales in Bolivia; Lula da Silva in Brazil; Fernando Lugo in Paraguay, Ollanta Humala in Peru; Zelaya in Honduras and Gustavo Petro in Colombia; and the Five Star Movement in Italy and Podemos, both in Spain. All of these are recipients of Venezuelan cash.

Gustavo Petro asked the Court to open an inquiry into the authenticity of the claims.

Petro stated that the foregoing was based on the idea that I have the right of truth and justice as a citizen and that such false statements can damage my good name, my honour and my good name.”

Hugo Carvajal, who are you? What were your outrageous statements to the world?

The “chicken Carvajal’ was the head of the Military Counterintelligence Directorate of Venezuela during the eight-year presidency of Hugo Chavez. gained traction when he entered into the well-known Clinton List. For allegedly aiding the FARC drug trafficking, he is believed to have been. Since May 2013 he had an arrest warrant issued by a judge in Florida, United States. In addition, he was a key actor in Nicolas Maduro’s government and was aware of all the details regarding the Venezuelan president’s actions.

The DEA as well as the US Department of Justice charged the man with aiding in the trafficking of cocaine in his country.

According to Spanish media reports, El Pollo says that a Venezuelan diplomat collected cash from the Embassy of Cuba in Caracas. The diplomat then took it to Spain using two methods. One is to transfer the money in a pouch that was designed for diplomats to Spain or deliver it by himself in Caracas.

It is likely that this plan could be repeated several times with various governments from Spain or Latin America.

For now, is waiting to see what will be discovered after it has turned its supporters. Certain, Petro’s comments could be a major blow to Petro’s presidential campaign.
