The Attorney General’s Office is going to inform General Eduardo Enrique Zapateiro the opening of a preliminary investigation against his possible involvement in politics.
The Attorney General’s Office analyzed several aspects before deciding to launch an investigation. The investigation included confirming that it was indeed an official account from the Army commander.
After an analysis by attorneys for disciplinary cases General Zapateiro was discovered to have violated laws that prohibit members of the public from taking sides in elections and taking a belligerent stand.
