NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire– The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. Canada is set to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel received more tourists from all over the world in the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were Americans. Israel’s official opening for all tourists was in May of 2018. Israel has received more than 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
