NEW YORK – Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% increase over the year before.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. Israel received more visitors from all over the world during the year 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of them were American. Israel’s official opening for all tourists was in May of 2018. Israel has welcomed over 600,400 US travelers since then.
