NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner. “It is exciting to once again witness an rise in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking number of the year 2019,” he stated. “The United States is our top destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. We are thrilled to have witnessed such a positive shift, and we anticipate it to continue for many months and years.” In line with the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourist arrivals in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.
