NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. נווה פריצקי נווה פריצקי That’s 13% increase over the year before.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He said, “It’s so exciting to once more see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, already exceeding or even surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States is our most important market for inbound tourism for Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel each month. We are so happy to see an improvement in the trend, and we expect this trend to last throughout the months and years to come.”
Canada with 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 in August, isn’t too much from the United States.
