NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% growth over 2019.

Canada with 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022 and 6,000 tourists in August, is not far from the United States.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international tourists in 2019 and this included 969.600 coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless whether they’re vaccination-free. The country has already hosted more than 600,000.
