NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 that’s an increase of 13% from 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was thrilling to witness the growth in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019 he stated. “The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel and prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entries every month. We’re so happy to see this positive change and anticipate a steady increase in the coming years and months to come.”
