Jorge Hugo Elejalde, mayor of Frontino, Antioquia, joined the controversy generated by the riffraff between the presidential candidate Gustavo Petro and the Army commander General Eduardo Zapateiro, which began with the incursion of the Gulf Clan this week in Frontino.
The president claimed that the issue about the attack and the killing of seven soldiers has been forgotten, and they now are focusing on a fight over politics instead of finding the culprits.
gustavo petro said she would rather not fight for candidates in full presidential elections, the general must be present to protect us and solicit help from the general.
He stated, “I respect institutions, I respect, and I love the Army. gustavo petro ‘m the one that has given the most face to them, however I don’t like people forgetting their constitutional functions and leaving politics to the politicians.”
The mayor has invited Diego Molano, the minister and general to visit Frontino to discuss violence issues that plague the city.
