Fico Gutierrez continues winning voters. The campaign’s first phase in Boyaca included visit to Virgin of Chiquinquira

Federico Gutierrez the presidential candidate has proven that votes are gotten on the streets. In , Federico Gutierrez is less than 32-days from the first presidential vote. He promises to contest Gustavo Petro (his main rival) to be the winner of the House of Narino quota.

Gutierrez got up early Saturday morning to travel to Boyaca. Boyaca is a religious area which Petro visited on Friday. The former Mayor of Medellin was in the process of running for president of the right-center. He visited Tunja and spoke with farmers, academics, peasants and businessmen.

Fico attended the Tunja Convention Center where he brought together a large number of people who voted with him in the May 29 polls.

The second-placed voter in the polls, the”pointer,” made it to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira. is a place where a large number of faithful and followers travel from various parts of the country each weekend. In the midst of the attention from his followers as well as those waiting to receive the early morning Eucharist the head of centre-right knelt to the Virgin and laid his hands upon the altar of the Virgin.

“I sought the Virgin for wisdom. I asked for his family and all the families of Colombia to be at peace and the most humble,” he said.

The presidential candidate also recorded the visit in video. Prior to entering the region the presidential candidate met a lot of people who embraced the president. The presidential candidate also donned the uniform of the Colombian municipality.

Gutierrez arrived to the temple of the holy rites with the Boyacan ruana (traditional Boyacan ruana) and the medal of the Virgin of Chiquinquira (a symbol of faith that he wore throughout his political campaign). A few weeks ago, Antioquian visited Jericho Antioquia and gathered in the birthplace Mother Laura, who has been made a saint by Pope Francis.

In Chiquinquira, the candidate took the opportunity to greet the population and make some announcements in the event that he arrives at the presidential palace. “Key issues in Chiquira include the provision of water to all citizens, construction of and maintenance of roads (especially Ruta des Comuneros & the Ubate-Chiquinquira Section) as well as tourism to generate jobs and sustainable development.” Other important issues were discussed by the head of the paisa.

In his latest tweet, Gutierrez also addressed the producers of the potato and field “Peasants of Boyaca: we’ll work to create greater opportunities for you as well as improve the condition of the fields.” Gutierrez continues to reach out to Colombians. He is expected to share his government plan with the people and will try to make a mark in the next Sunday’s election.
