Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God on her son from an early age.
The entire family is involved in the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where several gospel artists are among the top-selling artists worldwide.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow in her father’s footsteps of sharing the Gospel of God with the world, also known as CSO, she is a talented gospel artist, award-winning and a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture.
